Welcome to Cerise Brook Orchard — a welcoming farm space nestled just a short drive from the pristine coastline of Tasmania’s famous Bay of Fires region. Surrounded by lush orchard trees and gentle Tasmanian bushland, our site invites you to connect with nature, food and community through hands-on local experiences, immersive play, and sustainability-led initiatives. We honour the Indigenous cultural heritage of this land and walk gently with Country.
Our vision is simple: to create a place where families, friends and visitors to the Bay of Fires leave their busy lives behind, reconnect with where food comes from and the land that nurtures it, and experience the joy of playing, sharing and growing together. We value play, community, natural sustainability, and local connection.
Set amid the scenic East Coast of Tasmania, Cerise Brook Orchard is perfectly placed for visitors exploring the Bay of Fires, St Helens, and the wider Break O’Day region. Whether you are searching for family-friendly orchard near Bay of Fires, farm-cafe St Helens, fresh local fruit east coast Tasmania or outdoor play and cafe Tasmania orchard, you’ll find us here.

Our farm spans one hectare of productive orchard—home to cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums, blueberries and seasonal fresh produce—alongside a welcoming café, outdoor play and games, picnic tables, and gentle walking spaces among the trees. We believe the simple act of sitting by the fresh fruit, enjoying a coffee with friends, watching children play on the lawn, or indulging in real fruit ice-cream can help deepen our connection to food and land, and contribute to healthier, longer, happier lives.
At Cerise Brook we practise sustainable farming and low-impact stewardship of the land. We respect the Indigenous custodians of this region, and we work to protect the native bush, birdlife and riparian zones of our site. We invite all visitors to leave footprints that matter, not scars.

Our café offers real-fruit ice creams, local baked goods, great coffee, gluten-free treats, and a gift shop stocked with Tasmanian-made delicacies and treasures. Meanwhile our outdoor “play” zone invites children and adults alike to engage in fun, simple games that bring back the joy of being together outdoors.
Visiting Cerise Brook Orchard is more than a stop-off—it’s a connection to place, to land, to food, and to community. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your curiosity—and come and experience Tasmania’s east coast orchard magic. Take in the views, savour the taste of fresh fruit, sip your coffee in the sun, let the kids play and breathe in the bush-air.

Our orchard covers a productive one-hectare block, planted and managed with care to nurture nature’s abundance. Thriving in Tasmania’s cool-temperate climate and crisp East Coast air, our fruit (cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums and blueberries) is available to purchase in out Cafe.
Pop up and pick some up from mid-December until stocks last.

Welcome to our café—a relaxed, inviting space set amid orchard trees, birdsong and Tasmania’s east-coast fresh air. We specialise in in-season, local produce and real-fruit treats: divine ice-cream made from our orchard fruit, local bakery goods from Scottsdale; and a strong lineup of gluten-free baked delights for visitors looking for great flavour and dietary options.

Let’s bring back the joy of outdoor fun. At the orchard we’ve created a variety of family-friendly games and outdoor experiences designed for laughter, connection and simple pleasures.
This includes our famous 9 hole family friendly chip & putt golf course.

Stay up to date with our special events — from high teas under the trees, family-barbecues on the lawn, live-music afternoons or seasonal fruit-picking days. Follow our Facebook and Instagram to see what’s coming next and join our community for memorable gatherings at Cerise Brook.

Our on-site gift shop and merchandise space is stocked with treats for your table, special mementos of your time in the Bay of Fires region, and Tasmanian-made food gifts. Whether it’s a jar of local honey, handmade ceramic, a basket of fresh fruit, or “just because” treats, you’ll find something unique. Take home a taste of Tasmania and remember your orchard visit.

We are proud to collaborate with local Tasmanian brands and producers. Think partnerships with the likes of Bich Brewing, Sonny & Bear, Bay of Fires Honey and more to come. These collaborations enrich our offering and support the wider regional food-and-drink community.

Whether you’re exploring the Bay of Fires’ white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, or enjoying a slower day in St Helens with nature as your backdrop, our orchard is the perfect complement to your holiday.
